Kodak E100VS film.
Frames 1 through 9 are of Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea as seen from the Haast Highway heading up from the west coast into Lake Wanaka. Frame 10 is looking back towards the Mount Aspiring area, I think. It was still wet and greyish (and snowing at the higher elevations) on the 19th of Feb.
Frames 11 through 26 are from a 3.5-hour hike at Diamond Lake. Frame 12 shows Diamond Lake itself, while Frame 14 is of a sign halfway up to the top. Frames 16 through 19 were a sort of pseudo-panorama (handheld, using my 100 mm lens) across the lake, which really was that incredible blue color. Frame 24 is I think my favorite shot, from near the top of the hill there.
Frames 27 and 28 are from the place we rented for the overnight stay, with 27 being the evening before, and 28 the morning. What a change a day makes! Hence, frames 28 through 36 are on the 20th.
Frame 29 is from our aborted attempt to go into the Matukituki Valley. Frames 30 through 33 show a waterfall (an ephemeral, I assume) that I thought was particularly picturesque, I guess. Frames 34 through 36 are from the start of a hike up Mount Iron. (The rest of the pictures from that hike are on the next roll.)
